SWEETIE 2022: LAMBERTZ RECEIVES TOP AWARD FOR NEW PRODUCTS
For the 18th time in a row, the trade magazine RUNDSCHAU for the food trade awarded the SWEETIE for the most promising and creative new products in the confectionery and snacks sector. The coveted award is regarded as an indicator of the innovative strength of the most impulsive products in the trade and provides consumers with an important orientation and basis for trust.
The award winners are selected by a jury of exclusive confectionery and food experts from the fields of retail, marketing and nutritional science. This year, these included renowned experts such as Prof. Dr. Guido Ritter (iSuN - Institute for Sustainable Nutrition and Nutrition Science), Karsten Daum (German Sweets), Sonja Meise (Foodnews Germany), Petra Kissel (EDEKA Südwest), and Sally and Murat Özcan (Sallys Welt), who assessed the products in terms of sensory, quality and design.
This year, the SWEETIE was awarded in 23 different categories. The Lambertz Group shone here with exclusive new products that had previously been presented at the International Confectionery Fair in Cologne. The products "Bio 3-Korn Ähren" and "Bio Buchweizen Ähren" (market launch March 2022) were the sole winners in the "Biscuits" category, while the "Lebkuchen Osterhasen Bastelset" was the sole winner in the "Gifts" category.
The award ceremony took place on April 7, 2022 at SallyconValley in Waghäusel, Baden-Württemberg.
