The family and traditional company Lambertz currently generates annual sales of 637 million euros. These lucrative times were not always on the agenda. The Lambertz sole owner Dr. Hermann Bühlbecker joined the indebted company in the 1970s at the young age of 26 and not only led it out of the crisis, but in 40 years made it the largest Christmas cookie supplier in the world with currently around 4,000 employees.

Lambertz can also boast of being a leading pastry producer and market leader for organic pastries. He tells the Handelsblatt how Bühlbecker saved the company from bankruptcy: "How the traditional company Lambertz became bigger than Bahlsen."
