On May 30, 2019, the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen was awarded, a distinction for all those persons and institutions who are particularly committed to Europe. It was awarded for the first time in 1950, and the sole owner of Lambertz, Dr. Hermann Bühlbecker was on site as a sponsor when this year's prize was awarded to António Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations. Guterres earned the award primarily because of his commitment to refugees and European values. We congratulate him and have photographs of the exclusive event for you.
