THE MEDIA NIGHT 2023: AN EVENING FULL OF MAGICAL MOMENTS

From June 23rd to July 2nd, 2023, the World Equestrian Festival will once again delight equestrian fans from all over the world with its show program. But the Media Night 2023 in particular will be remembered for a long time as a glamorous gala that brought its guests together for an unforgettable opening ceremony of the CHIO Aachen under the motto “All you need is love”.

On June 27, 2023, the red carpet of the Champions' Circle in Aachen's Soers once again became a catwalk for international and national guests such as Anna Ermakova, Liz Baffoe, Reiner Calmund, Anna Hiltrop, Britta Heidemann, Tom Buhrow, Tom Gerhardt, Jean Pütz , Kim Hnizdo or Lou Bega. As co-organizer, Prof. Dr. Hermann Bühlbecker helped create the wonderful atmosphere of the evening with his hospitality and gave the prominent visitors a warm welcome alongside ALRV President Stefanie Peters.

In keeping with the partner country Great Britain, the most glamorous moment of the event was undoubtedly the appearance of Princess Anne, who was received by NRW Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst and took a carriage ride through the stadium before her opening speech. The celebratory ceremony, which was broadcast live on WDR, was a reflection of British elegance and the perfect start to the world's largest equestrian tournament.

Lively conversations took place at the subsequent get-together, people danced until the early hours of the morning and, thanks to a Lambertz stand with delicious delicacies, even those with a sweet tooth got their money's worth.
